Characters

These are my more notable original characters- some old, some new, some let go, some rehired… :D Arranged in no particular order.

Chrysanthene ver. 1- an original character that made her first appearance in Sylvan Legend, the personal legend project for English back in first year high school. She is a shrine maiden, dedicated to the gods of her world and is the third daughter of the Lord and Lady of the Jade Lands. However faithful, she is doubtful of her own worth and capabilities, and is easily lead astray. One day while walking in the woods, she loses her way, and is charmed by a demon, Leofric, masquerading as a handsome young traveling merchant. She is brought to the Lands of Bloodstone, a legendary demon kingdom, and is imprisoned for several months. Leofric has a change of heart and frees her, leading her to the Lands of Amethyst, only to return, alone, to his homeland. Chrysanthene takes the perilous journey back to Jade on her own.

Chrysanthene ver. 2- an original character that appears frequently in my ever-unfinished Artemis Fowl fanfics. She changes roles often, but she is always the villainous mastermind and, although not a genius, is cunning and can keep Artemis at bay for quite some time. Dark-haired, cherry-lipped and pale-skinned, she can’t rival the likes of Opal Koboi in looks, but is pretty attractive in her own right.

Edward ver. 1- This is Edward of The Monstery- young, fresh out of university, of a scientific mind and with a burning thirst for knowledge. He doesn’t believe in supernatural stories, though he intuitively can feel something wrong. He is tall, slender, fair-skinned and blond, and generally can be seen wearing boring work clothes.

Edward Grantz- in the as of now untitled MUSEical, ruler of the New World Empire, known as the ’shadow dictator’ to the masses, because he has never revealed his identity. He forcefully recruits a young scientist to help him with his plans to prevent his downfall, but finds himself falling in a way he never prepared for.

Charlotte Schiffer- she appears in MUSEical, as the young scientist whose rising fame lands her in a difficult situation. Forced to work for the dictator she hates, she finds there’s a very thin line between loathing and admiration, and she falls further from grace as she falls further in love.

Edward Prime- He appears in Seraphim, a young inhabitant of the tourist planet Qandros, a cross between a Martian and a human. He is small, the complete opposite of powerfully built, with pale skin and fair hair. He has unnaturally large almond-shaped green eyes, long protruding green ears (think Shrek) and small dents on his fingertips that serve as vestigial mini-suction cup organs. He is recruited by Gralsk against his will, and finds his true destiny and power along his way to greatness.

Xariel Oeleptipus- fondly known as Riel, he is Edward Prime’s best friend and loyal companion, until Ed gets recruited by the House. Even then, he remains (illegally) in contact with him. He is a pure Caldaran, a race of hyena-like aliens with superior fighting skills.

Seri Sukarno- Edward Prime’s only friend in the House, able to deliver letters between him and Riel. He is an immigrant from Blosse, a nearby planet of humanoid aliens. His name is made-up, taken from random words he found in an old textbook from the planet Earth. He has pale skin, blue eyes and chestnut hair- his personality is sweet and somewhat submissive.

Gralsk- Full title: Cherubim Barachiel Gralsk. He recruits Edward in Seraphim, and becomes his trainer. He works Ed extremely hard, and is a very strict and rather sadistic instructor, although… :D (spoiler)

Darja- Full title: Cherubim Azriel Darja. Co-head of the Cherubim tier (the other would be Gralsk), she manages the jobs and lives of everyone under her position- which is to say, everyone.

Madison- Full title: Ophanim Jehudiel Madison. She is the primary assassin of the House.

Nathaniel Lucas Lowsley- a.k.a. Luc, of Guile. He is a young, rich boy- his parents own Lowsley Unlimited, a fashion company that earns billions. Despite being rich, he remains unspoiled, a little too much on the trusting side, and is very expressive with his affections.

Claire Clayworth- alias Elise, of Guile. A talented assassin, she is a very inexperienced kidnapper- nevertheless, she is recruited to kidnap Luc. Unfortunately, she finds that she’s really not up to the job.

Catherine- the princess of The Princess and the Jester. She is flighty and frivolous, liking frilly dresses and parties and handsome princes from far away lands. She is, however, rather afraid of our poor jester…

Stephen Thomas- the aforementioned jester of The Princess and the Jester. He is the son of the castle cook, and performs tricks and street illusions for the court. He secretly is madly in love with Catherine, and detests all the royalty and nobles (except her). He is cunning and manipulative, and hatches a plan to humiliate and bring down the royal family, while winning the heart of his beloved Catherine.

Tristan Delgado- the main character of the Filipino short story Kwaderno, he is a thin, sad-faced boy of seventeen, a self-proclaimed genius who likes to keep to himself. He prefers to sit hunched over a computer rather than socialize, though he would jump at the chance to be with Kerrin Rionda, his crush. People like to pick on him, calling him a freak, emo, whatever insult they can think of- but they just don’t realize just how hard he can bite back.

Kerrin Rionda- a character in Kwaderno, she is seemingly the perfect girl- pretty, smart, athletic. All the people in school love her, but does she love them back?

Allan Escano- another character of Kwaderno, tall, dark, and generally an all-around, nothing special nice guy. He is friends with Kerrin, and hangs out with your usual school jocks. However, there’s more to him than meets the eye.

Dante Caruso- alias Rain, of Guiltless (which will most likely never appear in this blog). He is a professional thief, a member of the Sunde organization, a master at getting himself into (and generally out of) trouble. He is half-Italian, half-Japanese, son of two immigrants living in England. He works to make a living, honest or dishonest, but everything is shattered when he catches the eye of a certain security guard.

Gabriel Woodhouse- an arrogant, accomplished person, Gabriel appears in Guiltless as the newest security guard of the Lowsley Bank. Despite being new, he has had excellent training and is a perfect choice for a guard- except when it comes to a certain thief.

Purificacion- Puring, of the Filipino *very* short story Liwanag. She’s locked up in a room in a mental hospital, but she has her moments of sorrowful clarity.

Max- formerly Blake Royce, of an untitled group work for Inkwell. He was once a famous actor, but his so-called friends ruined his fame. He lives in the dirt-poor, “bad” side of town, plotting his revenge.
